Child Care Program
The Child Care program is intended to assist Prophet River First Nation (PRFN) members to help low income families with the cost of child care in the event they are not eligible for funding from other sources (i.e. government assistance). This funding program is intended to support members whom are attending a post-secondary institution and/or maintaining full or part-time employment.

Assisted Living Program
This program is to meet the needs of PRFN members and elders with complex medical conditions, living in their home that need non-medical assistance to allow them greater independence. It provides funding to have a care worker come into your home to assist you with daily living activities in the form of non-medical social support.

Child Out of Parental Home Program
The COPH Program is intended to assist in meeting the basic needs of a child in the home of a relative /caregiver, when the parents of the child are unable to care for or provide financial maintenance for their child and when this plan is in child’s best interests. This also includes when a child needs to change schools as it is in their best interests to do so.

Urban Housing Renovation Program
The purpose of the Prophet River First Nation (PRFN) urban housing program is to provide Prophet River First Nations members living off reserve with funding to renovate their home or replace their appliances.

Youth Extracurricular Program
The purpose of the Prophet River First Nation (PRFN) extracurricular program is to provide Prophet River First School age children and youth participating in school related extracurricular activities, to support youth engaged in physical activity, extended core course learning, music interests, and cultural or language programs/experiences.

Extended Medical Program
The purpose of the Prophet River First Nation (PRFN) Extended Medical program is to provide health related benefits to meet individual PRFN member’s needs not covered by provincial, territorial or any third party health insurance providers. In the case of PRFN elders, where necessary, 100% of all costs will be covered by this policy.
